Meet Dr. Richard Stern
Richard K. Stern, DDS
Dr. Richard Stern received his undergraduate education at Binghamton University. He received his D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he was elected to membership in the O.K.U. Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Stern completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at The Bellevue Hospital Center of the New York University Medical Center, where he was chosen as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Stern has received additional training in cleft lip and palate surgery at The Universidad Nacional Autonoma De Mexico, as well as specialized training in the placement of implants.
He has received many awards, including The Dean’s Merit Scholarship and The Samuel Hess Memorial Scholarship Award.
He is a teaching fellow at the New York University College of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, attending oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He is Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Peter’s University Hospital. He is a member of the Head and Neck Oncology Team and Cleft Palate – Craniofacial Team of St. Peter’s University Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
